Prefab Homes Northern California. Panelized homes are prefabricated homes where the company pre-builds all the surface and interior wall space. The wall space are then sent to the building site to be put together. Panelized home deals come complete with roofs, floors, gates, glass windows and siding. After the shells are built, subcontractors complete the interior work such as electrical power, warming and drywall. Modular homes change from panelized homes for the reason that they are built in parts that are positioned on pre-made foundations, and then joined up with along and completed by the builder.
While prefabricated homes offer several advantages, there are a few constraints to consider. Most modular homes tend to be rectangular and typically follow constant interior patterns. They are also limited by the dimensions of these delivery vehicles and the products must have the ability to stand up to stress during braking, accelerating and turning. Panelized homes don't have the same limits because only their wall space are pre-built. Furthermore, garages, porches and other enhancements to modular homes must be built on-site, whereas these additions are ready beforehand for panelized homes.
